Author Guidelines

Submission Guidelines

  1. Lambung Mangkurat Law Journal (LamLaJ) contains original research articles or articles of analysis has never been published before;
  2. The language used in this journal is English.
  3. The manuscript typed using the font Times New Roman,size font12, with 1.5 spacing on A4 paper. The minimum number of pages should be 15 and a maximum of 20 pages (including bibliography/bibliography).The Margin should be : top and bottom 4 cm, right and left 3 cm.
  4. The writing system consists of: Title (ideally no more than 14 words; Author's Name (without an academic degree); Abstract (no more than 200-300 words made in English, which contains a summary of research, methods and research results) , and keywords); Introduction (containing a description of the background and formulation of the problem); Method (generally consisting of the kind of research, type of research; approach method, research location; sources of legal materials; techniques for collecting legal materials/data and analysis of legal materials/data ), Analysis and Discussion (description of the analysis of the research results), Closing (containing descriptions of conclusions and suggestions), and Bibliography (Turabian Citation Style Guide 8th Edition System )
  5. The writing system consists of: Title (ideally no more than 14 words; Author's Name (without academic degree; Abstract (no more than 200-300 words written in English, which contains a summary of research, research methods and results of research as well as keywords); Introduction (containing background description and problem formulation); Analysis and Discussion (a normative description of the discussion); Conclusion (containing a description of conclusions and suggestions); and a Bibliography (Turabian Citation Style Guide 8th Edition).
  6. Each manuscript uses the Footnote citation technique (times new roman 10 font). The Footnote writing order is: Author, Title of Bukum in Italics, City: Publisher Year, ,Year . Example:  Mispansyah, Teknik Pemilahan Dan Pemilihan Teori Hukum Dalam Tesis Dan Disertasi, ed. Nurunnisa, Cetakan I.   7. Bibliography: a minimum of 7 (seven) reference books and journals. Only references used as citations may be listed in the bibliography. The order of writing is; last name is put in front, Year, Title of book italics, City: Publisher. Examples:  Mispansyah, and Amir Ilyas. Tindak Pidana Korupsi Dalam Doktrin Dan Yurisprudensi. Cetakan I. The division between  Titles, Sub-Titles, and Sub-Titles is written in the following order: CAPITAL BOLD;  Bold; Bold; Bold Italic; and Italic.
  8. The table (if any) is added with an open model (without vertical lines)..
  9. The author attaches a brief curriculum vitae including full name, place and date of birth, educational history, address of the agency/institution where he is assigned (office phone number, facsimile and handphone), and e-mail address.
  10. Every manuscript submitted to the LamLaJ editor will be reviewed by an editorial Board and two Peer Reviewers based on their field of expertise. Correspondence is done via e-mail using the Open Journal System (OJS).

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and Manuscript Template, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
